這詩寫的好棒喔!
在人生的分岔點,需要做出決定時,
你是否有自信踏出你的第一步,
不管有無前人的腳步,
最後再回頭檢視過去的決定,
是否會後悔當初做了這個選擇呢?
恐怕時間也不允許回到過去了!
老師說《The Road Not Taken》表面上
描述旅人在樹林裏遇到岔路而躊躇不決的心情,
實際上卻是在告訴我們:每個人的人生道路都是靠自己決定的,有得必有失,
能捨才能得。各行各業都有成功的人,走自己真正愛走的路吧!
這首詩最打動他心弦的一個字是"Both that morning equally lay"中
的"equally"這個字,它代表一個選擇、一種平等,和一份自由。
我再加上一句「對於不確定的未來,提醒我們更要懂得珍惜、抓牢」
無分賢愚貴賤,每個人的人生當中都有過一些這樣的選擇機會。
人生之無奈,固由於選擇之無可回頭,人生之美,豈不也來自對自己選擇的無怨無悔?
獻給每個人,勇敢做出屬於自己的決定!
也把這首詩當做我網誌的第一篇,送給曾經或是現在陷入迷惘的人。

沒有走的路

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

黃樹林裡岔開兩條路
很遺憾我不能都涉足
我孤單地站立良久
向其中一條極目望去
看它彎沒在林蔭的深處
然後走另一條 同樣清幽
也許還多些魅力:
那綠草茵茵似乎更盼望人跡
但其實這兩條路的過況
也沒有那麽大的差異
那個早晨兩條路躺在前面
落葉都還沒有遭污跡踏踐
啊!第一條改天再走吧!
只是來路遙遙地相接
我恐怕無法再回到原點
多年後的某時某地
我回憶此刻將輕聲嘆息:
樹林裏岔開兩條路 而我——
我走了人跡較少的那一條
因此有了完全不同的人生
